By law, we are required to charge 4% sales tax to all Louisiana residents. East Baton Rouge Parish residents will be required to pay an additional 5% sales tax, by law (9% total for EBR parish).
- Production and Cancelation Policy
Due to the personalized nature of our business, your custom item is made once your payment has cleared. We are not able to cancel your order once it is in process because most of our items are custom-made. We begin working on your order as soon as it is placed (if paid by credit card; if by check, we begin as soon as your payment cleared) so we can ship it to you as quickly as possible. Because of this, we enforce a no-cancellation policy. When your order is placed, we begin custom designing your product, therefore we ask that you please choose your selections very carefully as these items are not returnable.
We ship all orders via U.S.P.S. (United States Postal Service). If items are listed as "ships directly from manufacturer," shipping carrier may vary.
We encourage you to insure your order! You can add insurance for a minimal fee of $3.00 to any order. Once the order has left our facility, if you have not insured it, Emmie Lane, LLC cannot be held liable. Lead time for most items is approximately 1-3 weeks due to the hand-made quality and customization of the product. Ask us about rush orders.

| Shipping & Handling charges are non-refundable and all return shipping is at the purchaser's expense. For local customers, if you need a rush order, please contact us about your pick up options.
We currently accept all major credit cards through PayPal, bank account transfers through PayPal, cash, and checks. Should you choose to pay with any method other than credit card, the money must clear the bank before we begin production of your order (may take 10 days). Credit card is the preferred method of payment, in order to provide the best customer service and turnaround time. If you would like to pay by check, please contact us for our mailing address. *Note: You do not need a paypal account to pay through paypal.
All products can be custom-made. For custom-made orders, customers are solely responsible for providing Emmie Lane, LLC with the correct specifications by which your item(s) will be made. Emmie Lane, LLC is not responsible for improper measurements or specifications taken by the customer. We will make the product you order. We are so certain that you will love our products that if you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, just return the product in its original packaging, as-new condition* with all wrappings, tags, and accessories included within 7 days and we can issue a refund, exchange, or credit (applies only to items that are not personalized or custom-made). This excludes shipping and handling charges.
All sales are final on custom-made items and sale items. This includes monogrammed items, wooden wall letters, canvas wall letters, and any other item that you have customized.
*Emmie Lane, LLC reserves the right to determine if a products is in unused condition.
